ELDER ABUSE

We work closely with Adult Protective Services to ensure elders are safe and secure in their own homes.

Our team is especially sensitive to elders who find themselves in vulnerable and dangerous situations.  Whether it is a family member, caretaker, or neighbor who is the perpetrator, we’re here to help.  We can provide safety planning, counseling, support, assistance with emergency safe shelter, and legal assistance with preparing restraining order petitions.  We partner with Adult Protective Services as well as McGeorge School of Law’s Community Law Clinic for more complicated cases.

When needed, our attorneys are available for court representation.

All our services are free and available on a walk-in basis.
