Agenda: 

- Domestic Violence & Human Trafficking: Connecting the Dots (1 hr). The newest information about human trafficking with a discussion about the nature of domestic violence and how this plays into grooming, and what we can do about it.   
   

- Hidden Homicides: The Initial Response (1.5 hrs). The critical importance of hidden homicides and the initial response. The presenter understands how critical it is for everyone involved to appreciate the importance of the initial response and how we can all be involved in expanding the narrative of hidden homicides and used to teach crime scene investigations for police academy recruits.  
 

- Firearms Relinquishment and Restraining Orders. By Julia Weber, JD, MSW. (1.5 hrs). Julia is the firearms point person for the Judicial Council. She was previously the Implementation Director at Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence.  
 

- Strangulation Prevention & Education: Breath Play is Death Play (1.0 hr). Joyce Bilyeu, CEO of the Sacramento Regional Family Justice Center, and co-chair of the DVPC is a nationally recognized expert in strangulation prevention, safety planning, and strangulation during sex.
